Contacting the Controller

Questions about how personal data are processed, as well as requests by which you exercise your rights, should be sent to [email protected]. They are dealt with by the controller, namely the operator of vegaswin.cz, which is responsible for data processing on this website.

What Information We Hold About You

What is processed during ordinary browsing?

Technical data (IP address, device type, browser, operating system, time of access and URLs of opened pages), used for running, securing and analysing vegaswin.cz, and the cookies described in the Cookies section.

What is processed when you write to us?

The content of an email sent to [email protected], i.e. your address, the text of the message and any signature.

What is not processed?

Data of Chance Vegas players, or data on gambling, identity verification or payment transactions. Processing stays within the extent that the purposes above require.

What the Processing Rests On

We process personal data in line with the GDPR, i.e. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Act No. 110/2019 Coll. and § 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. Each purpose has its own legal basis under Art. 6 GDPR:

  1. Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) applies to analytical and marketing cookies. These are kept until consent is withdrawn or according to your browser settings.
  2. The controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) covers operating and securing the website. Such data are retained for 12 months at most, or as technical capabilities permit.
  3. Performance of a contract, or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f)) is the basis for handling enquiries sent by email. Enquiry data are kept while the enquiry is being dealt with, for no more than 6 months.

Categories of Recipients

For operation and analytics purposes, we distinguish the following categories of recipients of personal data.

Hosting and CDN

Providers that keep the website live, accessible and secure.

Web analytics

Providers that process statistical data on traffic so that the website can be optimised. Their names are stated only where they are publicly identifiable on the website.

Unverified entities and third parties without a legal basis do not receive personal data.

Transfers Outside the EU

Where the website uses an analytics tool whose provider has its seat outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, personal data are transferred to a third country. Such a transfer relies on standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR, which ensure an appropriate level of protection. When no service outside the EU/EEA is used, nothing is transferred to third countries.

What You Are Entitled To

You can end processing based on consent by withdrawing that consent; whatever took place before the withdrawal remains lawful. Processing on grounds of legitimate interest can be challenged by an objection under Art. 21 GDPR. If we process data by automated means on the basis of consent or a contract, you may invoke your right to data portability under Art. 20 GDPR.

In addition, the GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. give you the right of access to your data (Art. 15), to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16), to restriction of processing (Art. 18) and, under the conditions of Art. 17, to erasure, known as the “right to be forgotten”.

Steps for Exercising Your Rights

  1. Send your request by email to [email protected].
  2. The controller will respond without undue delay, and in any event within 30 days of the day it receives the request.
  3. If the request is complex or there are several requests, the deadline can be extended by another two months. In that case the controller will notify you of the extension.

Complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection

The Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů) at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7 is where you can file a complaint if you feel that the processing of your personal data is contrary to the law. The Office is the supervisory authority in this field; details are on its website, uoou.cz.

Technical Security of the Website

How are data protected in transit? By the HTTPS/TLS protocol, which secures the connection between the user's device and the server.

What protects access to the data? Technical and organisational measures corresponding to the current state of the art.

Is security checked? Yes, the controller reviews it regularly and takes measures against unauthorised access to and misuse of data.

Current Version of the Policy

We recommend checking regularly whether the current wording of this policy has changed. Changes may occur if legislation or the processing of personal data is adjusted, and the controller will inform you of significant ones via the website.
